Sales Evolution was established in 2003 by Mark Gillanders and Craig Swinburn, corporate sales professionals with a long history of assisting companies to achieve sales success. They are accustomed to working at a high level of accountability and instigating strategies to both acquire new business and develop existing areas. They both possess first class leadership, team building and motivational skills and promote clear channels of communication and co-operative working practices among teams of staff.

Mark Gillanders

Mark Gillanders | Director

An acknowledged sales innovator with a real passion for professional selling, Mark is a Co-Founder of Sales Evolution.

Mark has a distinguished career in corporate sales and management stretching over 15 years. Over the last few years Mark’s focus has been on developing and delivering sales acceleration services that position Sales Evolution as a real force within a rapidly growing market. He has provided senior level counsel to businesses within the technology, engineering, finance, food, energy and logistics sectors.

Sam Young

Sam Young | Lead Generation Manager

Sam Young has considerable experience in sales having carried out a variety of roles including sales management. She has worked in a wide range of industry sectors establishing excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills. She holds an MA (Hons) degree in Politics and Social Policy from the University of Edinburgh.

Jayne Craib

Jayne Craib | Marketing & Communications Manager

As well as internal marketing and communications for Sales Evolution, Jayne provides marketing consultancy and services for clients. She has a wide range of experience in sales, communications and marketing and holds an MA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Robert Gordon University.

Steve Nickerson

Steve Nickerson | Sales Consultancy Manager

As our Sales Consultancy Manager Steve has responsibility for the management and delivery of sales effectiveness audits and sales improvement plans for our clients. Steve has significant UK and International sales and project management experience and brings proven commercial and organisational skills to his role with Sales Evolution. He has a BSc in Technology and Business from RGU and has additional qualifications in management and project management.
